What's even more extreme about this guy is his background. Fowler grew up idolizing his dirt bike riding father, and was busy following in his father's footsteps until a serious wreck in high school almost derailed his blossoming golfing career.
Fowler's golfing game is almost entirely self-taught, and if the last few years are anything to go by, apparently he was on to something back at the driving range as a 14 year old.
