We're torn here at E:O, as we had shirts of both colours on last night. We have the video here and then the responses from each side of the border:
From North of the Border: It looked dreadful, but, technically speaking the rules allow Farah to dislodge the ball and it's play on. After the ball is dislodged, it's try time. No doubt they got the call right, but we would be dirty if it were NSW being given that try.
From South of the Border: Knock on. Labby's nan (Labby is popular Brisbane radio host Jason "Labrat" Hawkins) on B105 said it clearly wasn't a try and she's 90. She's clearly right.
After reports emerged this morning that Bill Harrigan, the NRL Referee's Boss, had declared the call had been made wrong, he confirmed today that the call made was in fact the right one in his mind.
