At the other end of the spectrum, the state of North Carolina this week has passed an amendment to their constitution, further preventing gay marriage from ever being allowed in the state. The new law reaffirms "Marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this State." While we strive to avoid any kind of political debate, we took to the Internet to sum up our thoughts:
What we can't understand is why there was need for an amendment to the North Carolina Constitution when gay marriage was already illegal in the state. The only thing we can be sure of, is we will hear more on the topic of same-sex marriage sooner rather than later.
